Pump House Construction for Borehole Protection

Project Overview

Following the successful completion of drilling works, commenced the design and construction of a 12ft x 10ft brick wall pump house as security around the well area to safeguard the infrastructure against vandalism, theft and external contamination.

Key Activities

  1. Site Preparation: Cleared, leveled, and prepared the construction area adjacent to the borehole.
  2. Foundation & Masonry Works: Constructed a reinforced concrete foundation and erected durable brick walls.
  3. Roofing & Finishing: Installed a weather-resistant roofing system, plastered walls, and applied protective finishes.
  4. Security Features: Fitted lockable steel doors and secure ventilation openings to protect the borehole equipment while allowing adequate airflow.
  5. Equipment Housing: Designed the pump house to safely accommodate pumping equipment, control panels, and associated water system components.
  6. Site Restoration: Cleaned and restored the surrounding area upon completion, ensuring a neat and safe working environment.
